I visited Immersia by Anthill after discovering it on Maoni, and the experience was honestly very different from what I expected. Most people know Anthill for stage plays, but Immersia is clearly more than that. The space felt like a calm community hangout where people could relax, interact and enjoy simple activities together. There were games, karaoke sessions and a movie projected on a screen while people sat on mats, beds and single chairs. The atmosphere felt cozy, relaxed and very unconventional compared to regular Lagos hangout spots. I honestly still don’t fully understand the exact concept they are trying to create, but it felt like a mix of entertainment, social interaction and community experience all in one. What stood out most was how comfortable and welcoming the environment felt. It’s not your regular lounge or cinema setting, but if you enjoy calm social spaces, creative environments and trying something different, then Immersia by Anthill is worth experiencing.
