Akara Street & Mall served some of the best food I had during my street food challenge. I ordered akara, pap, egg, plantain, and bread, and everything tasted really good. The akara was fresh and well fried, the pap didn’t even need milk, and the egg and plantain were properly cooked and satisfying. Prices were fair — ₦1,000 for 10 akara, ₦1,000 for plantain, ₦1,000 for eggs, and ₦500 for bread. They also gave me free pepper sauce, which was a nice touch. Finding the place wasn’t difficult because they had a big flyer at the entrance of Sun City Garden, but accessibility might be an issue if you don’t live around that area. My major problem was the experience itself. There was no seating at all — I had to eat in my car. Hygiene during preparation wasn’t the best, and the staff seemed confused and slow at some point. There was also no proper menu; prices were just said verbally. Overall, the food was excellent and very satisfying, but the setup, service, and hygiene need serious improv
